The Canary Islands the Canary Independent Community received in July 1.071.776 tourists received a total of 740,254 foreign passengers during the month of 2005 July, a 0.22 percent more than in July of year 2004, which supposes 1,611 visitors more, according to the data facilitated by Spanish Airports and Navegation  (AENA) to the Council of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands.
